WARNING

THIS ONLY APPLIES TO THE MESSAGE BEING DISPLAYED ON THE IFD100 IPAD APPLICATION AND NOT THE PANEL MOUNTED IFD5XX/4XX. IF YOU ARE SEEING THIS MESSAGE ON THE PANEL MOUNTED IFD AS WELL, YOU NEED TO CONTACT AVIDYNE TECHNICAL SUPPORT.

It has been reported to Avidyne Technical Support that after upgrading the IFD5XX/4XX to 10.2.3.1 the IFD100 IPAD Application in some cases will display the following CAS Alert:

If this message is displayed on the IFD100 Ipad Application only! The following steps have proven to resolve the issue.

If you do not know how to delete Apps, follow this link to learn how:

Delete an App from your IPAD

1. Uninstall/ Delete the IFD100 Application.

2. Uninstall/ Delete the IFD Trainer Application.

It matters! The IFD Trainer, if installed needs to be removed from the IPAD as well as we have found it to be having an effect on the IFD100.

3. Only After both applications have been removed, perform a fresh download of the applications from the Apple App Store.

4. Confirm the IPAD has at least 2 GB of free space for IFD100 use. The IFD100 uses IPAD memory space while it is connected to the panel mounted IFD. If it does not have adequate space available to perform it's function, it flags the Configuration Error Message as it cannot store all of the information it is receiving from the panel mounted IFD.

If you are still experiencing this error feel free to give Avidyne Technical Support a call so that we can determine what could be the reason for the message.
