Getting Jepp data onto IFD w/o PC

It is possible to get Jepp data onto a IFD without the need for a PC.

Using a third party device called a Bad Elf Wombat ($250 on Sporty's) a pilot can use JDM on the ipad and then transfer the data to the BadElf. Plugging a USB into the BE Wombat and then taking that USB to the aircraft and updating the IFD as normal via maintenance mode.

This is an option for those pilots whom may not have a PC available for gathering their Jepp NAV data.
