R9 Flight ID with AXP322 remote transponder
print icon

When an R9 IFD is replaced or the configuration file is run for any reason the flight ID stored in the AXP322 transponder is lost resulting in an emitter fail on the ADS-B report. To restore it simply change the flight ID on the user settings in the systems tab and change it from N1234CD to N1234CE. Wait five minutes to allow the AXP322 to get the "changed" flight ID. Then go back to the user settings in the system tab and change N1234CE back to N1234CD allow the five minutes for the AXP322 to accept the flight ID and all will be well.
